Madonna Sued in Russia For Supporting Gays

Anti-gay activists in Russia are offended by Madonna's  support for gay rights during a recent concert held in the Russian city St. Petersburg. A law was passed in Russia in February 2012  making it illegal to promote homosexuality to minorsare.

complaint is said to include a video taken at the concert showing Madonna stomping on an Orthodox cross and asking fans to raise their hands to show the pink armbands in support of gays and lesbians that were distributed among the audience. Pop singer singer is been sued for about $10.5m.
